Registration for Spring 2021 is now open! Please read carefully as there is a new registration process for our girls members and for information regarding our Covid refund policy. We have also added a new age group! BYLA now offers a Boys high school age program. Please see below for information regarding this new program.

If you opted to roll over your registration cost from the 2020 season please complete your registration at www.bostonyouthlacrosse.org as you normally would and them sign out BEFORE submitting payment. At that time, you should send an email to bostonyouthlax@gmail.com so we can adjust your amount due. Please be sure to include your name, your athletes name, their grade and their gender in your email.

Boys Information: Boys must first register with Mass Bay Youth Lacrosse League at a cost of $30. Please visit www.mbyll.org to register. Once you complete their registration you will be given a Member ID number. Please use this ID number to register on our website, www.bostonyouthlacrosse.org

Boys Costs:

  • Boys 1st & 2nd Grade $30 to MBYLL, $50 to Boston Youth Lacrosse
  • Boys 3rd-8th Grades $30 to MBYLL, $100 to Boston Youth Lacrosse
  • Boys High School Program $175 to Boston Youth Lacrosse

Boys Practice Location: To accommodate our amazing program growth and the need for more field space, our boys program will now practice at the new turf fields at Garvey Park in Dorchester (by the Devine rink) All boys and girls games will continue to take place at Saunders Stadium.

High School Program: Our Boys high school program will practice and play out of Saunders Stadium in South Boston. This program is to accommodate boys who do not have the option to play at their high school. If they attend a school that offers Boys lacrosse they should play exclusively for their high school team in the Spring. If they attend a school that does not offer Boys lacrosse and they do not have an option to get a waiver to play at a different school, then this program is meant for them. They will practice 2-3 times per week with 1-2 scrimmages per week.

Equipment: Boys are required to have sticks, gloves, helmets, shoulder pads, elbow pads, mouth guards and a stick.

Girls Information: Girls will register exclusively with Boston Youth Lacrosse. We no longer require US Lacrosse membership! Instead, your $30 Founders Girls Lacrosse league membership and insurance cost is built into your BYLA registration cost. Please complete your registration at www.bostonyouthlacrosse.org

Covid Refund Policy: It is our intent and hope to make sure we are able to provide a full season for all of our athletes. However, our athletes safety is always the most important thing to us. We will continue to monitor and follow all local and state guidelines that are in place and will do our best to provide a fun and rewarding season, even if it looks a bit different than previous years. Please be aware this could include mask mandates, smaller group practices, game rules modifications, spectator limitations, smaller team sizes, etc.

Our goal is to begin practices the first week of March and to begin games the first weekend of April. With these dates in mind, our refund structure will be as follows:

  • Season cancelled on or before March 31st we will provide full refunds minus a $10 processing fee
  • Season cancelled between April 1st-May 10th a 50% refund will take place
  • If the season goes beyond May 10th there will be no refund.
